*NEW* Stunning felt brooches

We are delighted to introduce these beautiful felt brooches by designer Vacide Erda Zimic.

Vacide was born in Lima, Peru in 1974. Her career started as an artist studying painting in the Fine Arts Department at The Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. She experimented in set design, cabinet design, photography and illustration before she felt the desire to devote herself to product design. In 2001 she started her own studio and workshop employing local artisans.

Today, her collection is composed of textiles. Vacide uses recycled and reclaimed crap fabrics like felt, cotton, alpaca, carpet, and other materials; combining them to make objects using different processes such as sewing, rolling, sticking and cutting.
